Sophi anxiously awaits for her new space from the hallway....
Underneath each bed is a little nook for each girl with their names burned into the top of the desk. The bottom of the beds (the ceilings in their nooks) is painted sunshine yellow - chosen especially by Michelle) These will be enclosed with curtains as soon as I make them (with help from Grandma - watch for the updated pics in the future).

On the end of each bed is a 47-year-old plant (that they have to water each Sunday and talk too everyday according to the instructions) that was potted by Great Grandma Plachecki.
Every knot in the wood was made into a colorful flower with a wood burner and coloring by Grandpa... one step on each ladder even had a flower on it. If you look closely you can see that the ladders were also sanded to fit the girls feet!
The girls were SO EXCITED - Grandpa is quite the craftsman!!
Signe climbs up to check out her bed. At the end of the bed was also a hook for their bathrobes.
Sophi heads up to her bed to check it out. There are lights mounted above their desks also, and the desks can be raised up as the girls grow.
Burned into the posts next to their pillows, it says:

After their first nights sleep... Signe said it was GREAT! Sophi's response, SUPER COMFY!
