Signe's Winter Dance Recital

Signe performed in her 1st dance recital tonight. She was so excited! (She especially liked that she got to wear a little makeup)

She looked so cute in her costume with her hair all done up.

She did awesome... she new every step and performed them with a huge smile on her face... she is a natural in front of a crowd!!

Happy Turkey Day!

After watching the parades on TV, the girls got ready to go in their "thankful" shirts (Thanks Auntie Kelli). * Notice their cute new haircuts.

Sophi is thankful for 1. her family 2. her house and 3. sharks (of course).

Signe, showing off the turkey that she is coloring, is thankful for 1. her charm bracelet 2. her sister and 3. her babies.

Neil and I have so much to be thankful for - mostly these two "love-them-all-the-time", "like-them-most-of-the-time" darling girls!! Have a great Thanksgiving.

Go Team RJD!

It was school spirit week at Sophi's school. On Monday, the 2nd graders were to dress like their favorite team. Sophi walked into a classroom full of Vikings and Twins jerseys... She was decked out in University of Miami RJD Shark Research Team gear!

Sophi has added a new dimension to her Save Sharks With Sophi campaign... Wristbands. They come in adult and youth sizes and are $2 each. She is donating all profits to shark research.

Neil & Girls To Duluth

Neil, Sophi and Signe headed up North to do some exploring this weekend (and give Mom a break)! First stop was the smile swimming hole - one of their favorite places to roam.

Grandma B. came along for the adventure.

They had a lot of fun playing with their shadows on the rocks.

They decided that the water was to cold for swimming... good choice!

They also spent some time at the end of Park Point on the ship playground...

and then hit the beach!

The weather started to warm up - so they were finally able to rid themselves of hats and mittens (even jackets for a bit).

They stopped at yet another play ground.

They learned all about how Grandma and Grandpa B. keep their house warm...

Don't worry - they didn't get to light it.

They had fun trying on the snowmobile helmets.

And riding the 4-wheeler (with Dad driving).

After visiting with Grandma and Grandpa B., they went to see Grandpa Larry and his dog Bob... where they spent more time having fires (outside this time), playing outside and

exploring on the 4-wheeler. What a fun weekend in the woods!

Snow Sharks and Snow Babies

They girls headed outside today to play in the snow.

Sophi and Neil decided to make a Great Snow Hammerhead. Sophi helps with shaping (she is the expert).

Then she works on clearing the extra snow from the deck.

and hangs out with her new shark friend...

He even gave her a ride!

Signe wanted to make a mommy snowman...

and a baby snowman!

They were outside most of the afternoon welcoming winter!

My New Necklace

Signe made me a custom-designed beautiful necklace that could top off any ensemble today. She insisted that I wear it to work - - - I did have to take it off to put on my coat so that it would not get ruined. She was SO proud of it!

Sophi and Signe met up with Princess Natalie and Princess Paige and they were off to trick-or-treat!

Halloween was a success - They had a lot of fun, stayed up to late, and got way to much candy!!
