Signe's New Pet

After 2+ months with Signe's fish Bluey, he took a trip through the plumbing. She finally decided that a new fish would be fun (for about 10 days she only wanted Bluey back).

Sophi's Loon

It amazes me that she can create these masterpieces in 1 hour - that is the total amount of time the kids have to learn about the assignment, talk it over with the teacher, draw, color, matte and sign their work. She really has a lot of talent and most important, she loves doing it!

She is doing so well that she signed up for another session - starting next week.

Sawyer Time

Sawyer was in town for a short visit this weekend (he brought his mom and dad too)!

I was in charge of bathtime this evening and I thought it would be fun to do it in the kitchen sink since he likes to sit up in the tub now.

We had lots of fun splashing and playing for a long time!

Then he decided that it was time to get out.

So I got him all jammed up!

And squeezed him goodnight! I sure do wish he lived a little closer so we could do this more often.

Goggles

Artist In The Making

Sophi has been taking an extra art class after school on Tuesdays for the past few weeks and today when I picked her up I was really blown away with her work. She drew this Indian woman with her baby in honor of upcoming Thanksgiving. She is so talented. They are working on loons next week!

Jackson and Ava are 3!

We had the pleasure of having dinner with our cousins Jackson and Ava on their 3rd Birthday. After we had a great dinner, Dawnie (their Mom) had some cupcakes for all of us with LOTS of frosting!

Sophi surprized me and got ready for school all by herself this A.M.

On Our Way Home

Before we could leave Duluth, the girls had a few things left on their list to check off:

1. Try on the old mask that Grandma found in the basement.

2. Go 4-wheeling with Grandpa.

3. Play with their pumpkins before we left them to the squirrels.

4. Deliver the apples that they had collected yesterday to the deer.

We had a great weekend!
