Sophi decided to follow in Auntie Kelli's footsteps and play soccer. She joined a YMCA team for Fall league. We headed off the her first practice and game this evening.

Sawyer Time
Auntie Kelli had some work to do - so we took Sawyer for the day. We had some swimming to do! Sawyer checks out the play area and the little pool...
...Grabs the buckets, and off he goes.

He hauled water back and forth, went up the stairs and down the slide and had a great time splashing around.
Signe took a break before we headed to the big pool.
Signe loves the big slides - she goes down over and over. Sawyer and I raced her - she won!
Sawyer loved the little pool, big pool and the slides - he smiled the whole time.

She Did It!!!
After working really hard the past few months, Sophi raised $2000.00 for a shark tag, Yeah! We are so proud of her! Thanks to all who supported her and donated to her cause. We surprized her with her favorite treat, Oreo Pie, to celebrate.
Some of her shark friends showed up to eat pie too!
Congrats Sophi - Keep up the good work!

Clean-Up
We have been cleaning out the house - getting rid of all the stuff we don't need. Signe is not a fan at all! Here she is trying on her Butterfly costume from 2 years ago and guarding some of her baby toys... the smile didn't last for long.

Urban Wildland
Our family volunteered EARLY this morning to work at the 3-mile water stop for the Urban Wildland 1/2 Marathon. Sheridan Hills (the girls school) annually takes part. The "Green" race makes the schools partnership with the Woodlake Nature Center possible. The classes go on seasonal field trips to the nature center to learn about animals and the environment. The numbers that the racers wear can be planted to grow into flowers!
The 4 of us getting ready to hand out water to the 1200 racers.
Sophi was waiting patiently for the runners...
At the end of the race we picked up all of the cups down the trail. We had such a fun time volunteering this morning - we will definitely take part again next year (maybe Neil will run).
