Sheridan Hills (Sophi's school) along with
Tolerance MN did a super cool painting project last month. The Color Project taught the kids that skin color does not matter - so embrace and celebrate the one you have! We should choose our friends by what counts - the inside!
All students and staff painted a self portrait. They had to mix colors to match their skin. Then,
with the help of school pictures and mirrors, they added their features.
Here is Sophi's - the paintings will be displayed in her school and at district events.
